A 19th century French Empire style single light table lamp with contemporary linen shade. Elegant with neoclassical designs and featuring a tapered onyx shaft ornamented with decorative brass mounts supported by a wonderful triform lion paw footed base. Wonderful contrast between the sleek gleaming onyx base and the well patinated and detailed brass metalwork. Recently rewired by a professional for the US with UL listed parts.
