A stunning pair of 2 white porcelain plates made in Limoges, France. One of these hand painted plates is marked 1890. One has gooseberries and the other has cherries. Both have ornate gold trim.
They measure 8.5″ in diameter. This size is typically referred to as a fruit plate. Would also make lovely salad or dessert plates.
– marked “PL Limoges France”
These plates are in very good condition – each one has a faint hairline crack (see photos) that is visible upon close inspection but can’t be felt.
