This vintage Imperial Glass serving bowl and underplate set is a stunning addition to any collection. The beautiful spun reeded amber pattern and glossy finish make it a unique and elegant set. Crafted in America in the 1960s, this large 10 1/4 inch diameter x 4 1/4 inch deep flared bowl can be used for serving many different salads or dishes. It sets perfectly on the matching 14 inch diameter underplate. The interion of the bowl and upside of the plate are smooth. The exterior of both feature a spun or reeded, lined pattern. Very unique piece, great for conversations. The set is in very good condition, with cracks or chips. There is some utensil marks and wear on the plate as shown. The Art Deco style and production technique of fused glass make it a valuable addition to any home.
