Antique shelf, origin: England, circa 1900 (may be older).
Eclectic form – Regency.
Made with great care from mixed wood (walnut, mahogany,
internal drawers made of beech. The piece of furniture is quite heavy (17.5 kg).
It has 2 drawers (upper and lower), an opening top – which creates a cockpit.
– it was once used to place notes.
Condition: good – has traces of time: patina, abrasions, minor defects in the veneer – (photo document).
the bottom shelf has a crack – it does not affect the structure of the furniture. ( photo doc )
It has been refreshed, preserved in its original form – it looks atmospheric..
