Vintage Design
These lovely vintage armchairs were made in 1960s Yugoslavia by Stol Kamnik. The design is structurally and visually very solid, with a metal frame that cradles a thickly cushioned seat and backrest. The seat and backrest are covered by black faux-leather. The seat is lightly reclined backwards and supported by metal springs on the bottom (see photographs). The armrests are wooden and slightly tapered towards the back, giving it a feeling of elegance and cohesiveness in design. The strong rectangular shapes and comfortable seat make this a striking vintage piece, perfect for a lounge, home office or as your favourite reading chair.
