Vintage Design
Oblong planter, with blackened wood structure, and provided with its original stopper.
The latter is embellished in the center with a Bouquet of Flowers in Light and Tinted Wood, highlighted by a darkened Pear Tree background. This Decoration is encircled by Thuja Veneers, themselves partitioned by Lemon Tree nets. This lid has two small Bronze handles. It discovers a removable Zinc tray, painted “Spring Green” inside and Black outside. The opening of this Planter is underlined by a Cut Bronze Gallery.
The belt of this piece of furniture, delimited at the top and bottom by Brass Rods, is in Thuja Speckled. It is embellished on its four sides with inlays of foliage in rectangular cartouches, and four openwork bronzes.
This planter rests on four high feet with curved lines. Each of them is decorated with three Bronze Falls, shaped in Foliage and Flowers, or in Cassolettes and Rams’ Heads. These four uprights are linked together by a shelf with concave sides and inlays reminiscent of those on the lid. One also finds on its edges of the Brass Chopsticks. It should be noted that the presence of this tray brings both Aesthetics and Stability to the whole.
This piece of furniture all faces and full of Fineness constitutes a Perfect Decorative element, which asks only to be brightened up by your Favourite Flowers. Another major asset and rare enough to be emphasized, this Planter is supplied with its Authentic Stopper, an accessory often missing on similar models.
