Vintage Design
Wooden “American” bookcase made in the 1940s. So-called “American” bookcases feature shelves that get gradually smaller as they go up. This bookcase has doors that swing upward and can then be slid into horizontal slots underneath the shelves. The lower sections have full wooden doors, while the doors of the upper sections have opaque glass windows with etched ornamentation. The bookcase is covered with an oak veneer, and it is in very good condition.
