This is a fantastic antique Art Deco petite burr walnut cocktail cabinet in the Epstein manner by Turnidge of London, circa 1920 in date. There is no mistaking the timeless appeal of this highly collectable item and it would be a wonderful addition to your lounge. It is of rectangular form, made in beautiful burr walnut, the upper part comprises a pair of doors enclosing a fitted birds eye maple and mirrored interior with a glass shelf and a mirrored slide for serving drinks below. The interior of the bar is fitted with a light that has been rewired and tested. The lower part has two doors that open to reveal a large fitted cupboard with a single shelf. The cabinet bears the makers label ‘A Turnidge Product’, With working locks and keys. Provenance: The Lawrie Gatehouse Collection.
