This marvelous Danish style solid gravy ladle is created in gorgeous .830 silver by Evald J. Nielsen, a Copenhagen, Denmark silversmith in production from 1910-1981. The name of this beautiful pattern is Tropic AKA #37, with a “Danish” palm design. This fabulous ladle is a side pour spout. Hallmarks are: Denmark, .830 encirled by dots, EN=Evald J. Nielson, S, encircled by dots. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from top to bottom=7 inches, Width of bowl=2-1/8 inches, Depth=7/8 inches. Weight=2.47 Troy ounces. This marvelous silver ladle has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks, repairs or damage. There is light surface scratching, commensurate with age and use, but they do not diminish the beauty of this fabulous ladle.
